I originally started this account at deviantART to organize a few of my favorite photographs, but it has become more of a place for me to cultivate my new hobby: drawing.
These images, and the rest of my art, can all be seen at my art portfolio 1000words.
About the Artist:
Kelly G.: University of Washington alumna, and Boeing medical insurance specialist.
Drawing: My interest in drawing started in 2007. I don't think I have settled into a specific style yet; most of my drawings are pretty random. I really like to try new things, and I have a lot of ideas. Many of my drawings are posted here and I think that they definitely show progress!
Photography: My interest in photography started in 1998. I enjoy taking pictures that have appealing composition. Scenery, nature, and architecture are the most common themes.
Tools of the Trade:
Programs: Photoshop/Illustrator CS2
Photography: Canon digital cameras (EOS 30D/EOS Rebel XS/Digital Rebel EOS/PowerShot S1IS)
Drawings: mouse and tablet (Wacom)

You've changed your website layout already! (It doesn't seem like you had the last one up for that long!). Your new one is cute (I love the purple and white winter theme!), but it seems to be missing something...

And yeah, I needed a change. I still loved the layout, but I was too lazy to play with the CSS and make it the way I wanted it, and also because I wanted something more professional looking. (Mostly because I sent in an application to get into a graphic design course with my site linked in it)
